Well, I finally finished the bed I've been working on for the last several months. I had just put the stain on the individual pieces before we left to the family reunion. This morning I went to the ware house I work in, where I was also making the bunk bed, and loaded all the parts into my car (I bet that very few people in the world have ever fit a home made bunk bed in an accord). It took me a few hours to get all the 2x4s bolted together, but I'm done. Yanina will be it's first occupant. Very exciting.

How was the surprise?! I've been checking your blog to hear about it. I'm glad she is there! Nice looking bed, Andy.

That is great! Bunkbeds are fun to have, and I have found that it forces siblings to get along!!
Is Yanina enjoying her visit?
